- 1985 - creation of SICA to provide TOTAL with Third Party Inspection services, services then extended to other Oil & Gas and Engineering companies
- 1986-2000 - Accompanied TOTAL international development with the opening of local operational bases and subsidiaries in USA, Asia, South-America and the Middle-East
- 2000 - obtained its first ISO 9001-2000 Certification in December
- 2005 - entered the French Kappa Group in May. Kappa Group, established in 1989, is an independent consulting firm specialising in technical assistance and project management for industry (energy, transportation, automotive, ..)
- 2006 - emphasis on international coverage and new customer development
- 2006 - ISO certification renewal and development of SICA own HSE Policy which is mandatory for its staff and partners
- 2007-2008 - focus on human resources and development of training programs to value the competences and propose where and when needed the best available expertise.
- 2008 - scope of service enlarged to QA/QC Technical Assistance
- 2008 - turning from a Technical Company into a Service Company
- 2009 - ISO 9001-2008 Certification in May
- 2009 - offering QC welding services
- 2010 - developping vendors'audits
- 2010 - SICA, now A Global Quality Service Company, is celebrating its 25th Anniversary
